Our Story

For many years, we felt a call to get involved in our community. After some time of analyzing what we had to offer, we sold our home and bought an overgrown field in the country. For the first year, we bush-hogged, harrowed, and sowed. Then came the fences and the rescues. Our livestock are part of our team, contributing healthy fertilizer to our garden and providing chemical-free pest control. Next, we began connecting with people who would benefit from establishing small home gardens. These gardens not only supply healthy, low-cost food but are beneficial for the environment. Fostering independence through sustainable gardening can provide a sense of well-being that will last for generations. We are also happy to announce that Sowing Strong Inc has received its 501(c)(3) allowing all contributions to be tax-deductible. Please partner with us to grow a richer tomorrow.
