Sowing Strong Inc at a Glance

Sowing Strong Inc was created out of a desire to foster independence and security through sustainable gardening. With 1 in 7 people (1 in 5 children) facing food insecurity in NC, dependence on food distribution centers has increased exponentially. These centers are also facing their own challenges of decreased donations and supply chain inadequacies. Our goal is to assist people with starting home gardens that can fill the need for an ongoing supply of healthy food. Sowing Strong also provides education and assistance to promote the exchange of ornamental plants for food-bearing plants, encourages integrating NC native, wild, edible species, and community garden management. In order to fund our mission, Sowing Strong Inc. provides full-service general landscape services to businesses and individuals. We love everything green and love sharing our passion.
